VISA Announces Changes to PCI Mandates
Heard any rumors about PCI compliance mandates? You’re not alone. In recent months, there has been a great deal of speculation about a forthcoming announcement from Visa regarding PCI compliance.

Any word, change or update on the moving target that we know of today being July 2010 for compliance? Bud

There’s been no change since the announcements Visa made in April.

NACS had a great article on the subject; the big takeaway here is that the date has not moved. Visa is holding firm to their July 1, 2010 date and there is no indication that it’s going to be a moving target.
