Important dates to remember for PED and EPP compliance are: January 1, 2009 all new PIN Pads must be deployed on attended and unattended payment terminals. July 1, 2010, all PIN Pads processing debit must be processing debit transactions with TDES encryption standard and meet both PED and EPP approvals.
